Default mayweather vs de la hoya video

    http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1w...ather-round-14

you know how to find the rest

kind of a snoozefest if you ask me.

maybe it's the fact that i mainly watch MMA now, but whenever i saw floyd cover up like that with the huge gloves, turning his body, and generally turtling up to the point where Oscar had no place to hit him looked pathetic and lame to me.

the whole thing reminded me of a tae kwon do style olympic POINT SPARRING match, where you can only hit perscribed spots.

there were so many ways he could've attacked his opponent or changed levels, but no, that's not allowed. boxing never looked more one dimensional till last night.

cliffs: fast and decisive MMA matches where 9/10 there's a clear winner >>>> 12 rounds of point sparring.

and there are never snoozers in mma? 90% of the entire ground game, imo, is boring. only once in a blue moon wil you see two guys so well versed in BJJ or judo that it's actully cool to watch.

I suppose in a way the same could be said for RJJ fights if that's the case, because Floyd and RJJ were masters at not getting hit. And because they were so good at it, the fights were never that filled with drama. I still love it though.

After watching many of Floyd's fights, it doesn't have to be an all out war to be entertaining in my opinion. Floyd usually dominates opponents, but watching someone be able to trouble him, it's good to watch... You'll never get a slugfest with a guy like Floyd. I'm guessing that's what you mean by snoozefest?

and looping, sloppy punches that ANY decent boxer would see coming and counter til the cows come home? holyfield fought at that weight. he'd kill silva if silva tried that "aggression" on him.
