Great post, are these official and if so where from? I've always wanted to see the offical British rankings.

On a seperate not this really confirms the validty of my rant on the small weights being not p4p worthy.

Just 9 flyweights rated in the whole country and the number 9 is an incredible 0-5!

Being a world flyweight or bantamweight champ really doesn't mean shit when you consider that there are probably less than a 1000 pro's in the entire world at those crummy weights.

The future's bright. 16 better lightweights than Amir Khan!
If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominos will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

Just for fun I took a look on boxrec.

First number is active boxers worldwide, second number is active European boxers.

    Minimumweight: 204, 0.
    Light flyweight: 349, 1.
    Flyweight: 566, 18.
    Super flyweight: 419, 7.
    Bantamweight: 722, 53.

So if any Europeans on this forum are able to make weight at 108, they could straight away challenge Olympic medallist Rafael Lozano for the European title. And if they can make weight at 105, heck the possibilities are endless.

Does anybody know a kid (and I say kid as I personally cannot think of a single guy I know above 14 years who could make that weight) willing to take the risk? Doesnt matter if he was ko'ed within 10 seconds, he would still be the de facto European champ... And the guy at #183 has a record of 4 fights, 4 losses on ko, so it should be possible to break the top 200 as well...

Oh, and a bit of talent would take your kid quite far, quite fast. At least that's the impression one gets, when #48 has a record of 1-1.

Oh man I wish I would have found this! And to think CutMeMick was saying how 'great' Ricardo Lopez was last week

He could beat ANY man under 108 lbs which meant 203 people!

Its sad that you have to go to the number 1 cruiserweight to find a heavyweight worth watching.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
