No he served his course in the boxing world he had good career giving Frazier two hard fights beat Chuvalo lost to Ali he was never quite elite but he was solid hw with granite chin but never elite.
But thats still a force in the division, not unlike Ron Lyle,or Jerry Quarry,he had just won his last 7 fights(admitably except for Middelton they were all tomatos, but still)and except for a questionable knockout by Ali,when he lost it was allways by decision.(they didnt make Ali go to a nuetral corner)Originally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING
Well Holmes was not long to peaking a new era of boxing was coming and he wouldn't of beat Holmes i think Jimmy Young would of beat him aswell he could of beat top contenders but imo he wouldn't of beat the guys i just mentioned.Originally Posted by Trainer Monkey
What makes him interesting,is he could come out of nowhere with power,he had Frazier down twice in the second.
If that fight had been on a 10 point must, instead of a round count,he might have won it
Frazier was green in that fight but it was good learning experience and yes it was very close fight.Originally Posted by Trainer Monkey

Now you make it a ten point must,Frazier was down twice in the second,so that would have been a 10-7 round,so its either a split for Bonevana,or a unanimous
I have this fight i remember it being close and i also remember how well a very green Frazier done to survive the second i would have to watch it again because i can't rememebr what i exactly had it.Originally Posted by Trainer Monkey

An obituary of being shot dead by your managers bodyguard in a brothel, because your manager suspect your doing his wife,is either the absolute worst,or absolute greatest, depending on your point of view![]()
