Default Zab was right about one thing!

Zab was right about one thing.
He said we better not blink.
I looked away during the 11th. round and the next thing I know,
Zab is laying flat out on his back looking like he had been a victim of a drive by
Shooting. The first thing I thought was that a crazy Puerto Rican fan
must have shot Zab Judah from the stands.

I was wrong. It was just slow, one dimesional Miguel Cotto dropping Judah.

Very good fight. I was surprised that judah didn't last the whole 12 rounds. They both did pretty good.

How did Judah act after the fight? Did he poo-poo the whole thing or did Zab man up and admit he got delt with?

Mayweather should fight Cotto. Do not be surprised if he fights him. Mayweather knows Margarito is big and a little bit of a problem, but Cotto is a guy stylistically he can beat.

He said low blows affected him and that there should be rematch but he said Cotto is great young fighter.

Let me say this & all of you think about it long & hard...because my brother & I batted this around for a good long while after the fight...

I have NEVER seen a fight that physically taxing. I truly believe that last night will be the equivalant of Calzaghe's Lacy fight & by that I mean that Judah will never be the same.

That being said...WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU WANT A REMATCH AGAINST COTTO?!?!?!?
Never beg a 40 dollar hooker...specially after she's just turned down your mom's credit card!!

Because Judah rocked Cotto several times in that fight.

Jeff Lacy never landed his famous left hook against Calzaghe.
That was a very one sided fight in which lacy had human punching bag written all over him.

Judah landed his surprize upper cut successfuly against Cotto.

Zab still believes he has that punchers chance in hell and he sort of does.

Karma sort of bit Judah in the azz in this fight.

There is no quiting in Miguel Cotto.

Zab should fire his father. Zab has all the skill in the world.

I might agree with you there that Zab might never be the same but then again, just look at the Kostya Tszyu fight, this has never stopped Zab from trying to come back.
The humiliation alone should have done him in. (a la NAZ)
Zab has no shame, the man is missing a shame gene.
    Was this fight physically destructive?
I did not see it that way. Not in it's entirety. IMO the ref did the right thing and stopped the fight in time to spare Zab and thus Zab will live to fight another day.
No doubt in my mind Judah was rusty. Did the lay off do him any good?
It helped Tito when he faught Vargas.
Maybe Judah goes down as another Fernando Vargas. Who knows.

I don't know what to say.

A rematch would be ok in my book.

    It was an entertaining fight.

Maybe these two can get it on in a couple of more years.

I still think Zab has a few good fights left in him but he needs to fire his father and find someone who can re-vamp Judah. Some one who Judah admires as a trainer because Yoel is just a screamer.

Zab was humble at first, then Merchant brought up the low blows, and a light bulb went on in Zab's head, and he completely blame the lose on the two low blows at the start of the fight. And that stupid ass woman behind him was emphatically agreeing that the low blows caused the loss.

Also, it should be note that Zab took a page out of the John Ruiz school of acting when it came to those low blows.

This is how I seen it ,first round judah thought it was gonna be a piece of cake ,true cotto hit him accidentally ,but if you see the fight again you will notice how zab gets on a high horse so the blows get lower after that they head colidedeach other both had a cut and cotto had an extra one for good luck under the chin ,never cried never complaint ,the truth while the fight progressed cotto got stronger, smarter, and was so direct ,judah lost power, stamina and fought cause his father was pushing him ,but his body said something else ,judahs word this was the hardest hitter i ever faced.
