Thread: - Do You Have A Fav. Movie To Watch During The Summer? -

Alright summers here (at least for me here in CA) and theres a movie I just can't resist but watch often during summer.
I basically put the DVD in and just leave there and press play.

Everything about this movie is great, I love the story line, I love the characters and it just sucks you right in....
I think what draws me in the most is that I can relate to a lot of the things that happen in the movie and I just love movies from that era....

Heres my fav. scene in that movie.... You gotta love it.

dude theres so many. Theres the pool scene, The story telling scene, its hard to pick but if i had to chose i'd go witht he chase scene at the end because they just wreck everything trying to get away from THE BEAST.

True, it's hard to pick 1 scene or line...

Wow...I haven't thought of this movie forever... Probably haven't seen it for 10 years...It is a great summer movie! Good coming of age flick.


I like when they are chewing tobacco and puke on that amusement ride...when the nerdy kid pretends to drown and tricks the hot lifeguard into kissing him...its funny I havent seen it in forever but remember it pretty well.

I remember at the end the "cool" one stole home plate when he was an adult..

I will have to rent this..thank you for reminding of it Mick...great film for a hazy/hot summer evening.


Gets me feeling a little nostalgic about my childhood thinking of it..

Bro I saw this movie last week in the theatres and I must say. This movie is pretty damn good. Its a real mind bender. I definately recomend it. to bad I paid I 9 dollars during the day to go see the damn movie. I remember when going to see movies during the day it was like 5 bucks, crazy how much its went up. Anyway yeah that movie is hella good.

Cusack is in it. He did a really good job in the movie also. John Cusack has always been one of my favs though.

He just gets better with each film imo.
