Thread: Mundine's next fight vs Winky

How would Mundine go against Winky at middleweight. Im pretty confident this is going to be his next fight.

I still have to stand by my favourite boxer, to win by UD. Because Winky can take a punch. But i would like to see whether Mundine retains his power after loosing the weight to make the fight.

Any sugesstions?

I know im a nut hugger lol. But Johnny Lewis said he thinks more of the same, on 2GB sports breakfast.

I say Winky outboxes him over 12.

Mundine would stand a chance if he could hit Winky which is very doubtful. I think Wright would win a wide UD

Winky may probably take it UD. i have only seen him fight a few times and he is really impressive.

Winky has hands down the best defence I've seen in boxing.

I would be surprised if this fight takes place, if it does then i go for Winky by UD

For this fight see Calzaghe - Lacy for the outcome maybe Winky wouldn't force the stoppage but definately a wide UD.

I would take Winky's defense over most. Winky by UD.

I'd also pick Winky, I think the chance of Mundine outboxing winky is even slimmer than this fight actually being made!

You certainly are but you have to be real even if you are a fan im a fan of Barrera but i think he will lose to Pac again you have to be realistic about fights and being a fan of a fighter does not cloud my judgement like it does yours.

Hasn't Mundine retired because of eye trouble?

If he did fight Winky he would be outpointed. He's not busy enough.
