"The money part came out not in my best interest, but for me, this has been a shot that I’ve been waiting for seven years and I’m not going to sit there and cry about the money. It’s still a good enough amount of money and my promoter and Cameron (Dunkin) are trying to work out more money, which is fair because believe it or not, I’m a humble guy and don’t really say too much. Right now it’s not Jermain Taylor that’s the draw. People want to see me fight Jermain Taylor. If Taylor was fighting another junior middleweight, he wouldn’t get any money either. People want to see me and him fight. I guarantee you that if me and Edison Miranda weren’t on the same card as Cory Spinks and Jermain Taylor, that venue wouldn’t have been half as packed. I told Cameron that if the money is right for Taylor then I’m not going to sit there and complain about the money. I’m just glad to get my shot. I’m glad he stepped up to the plate and is taking the fight."

i like this guy more and more everytime he steps in the ring or opens his mouth.

i dont think hes ready for jermain yet, though. i think that he should have had one more fight (arthur abraham, perhaps?) before stepping in the ring with taylor.

True in an ideal situation i think Frozen, but everyone wants a piece of Taylor from Roy Jones to Calzaghe so I think Pavlik is just thinking in his head it is now or maybe never , fuck it ill do it.

I like his mentality and attitude towards the sport.

I will be the first to admit that I was all wrong about him.
I hope he beats Taylor. He is right about people wanting to see this fight. I don't care much for Taylor fights but I do care some for Pavlik.

Andhe is right when he said that he will draw more to Altlantic city than Taylor. I look to be making a 5.5 hour trip down I-80 from Akron through Youngstown through the keystone state to Jersey to watch this.I belive he can do it and the people of northeast ohio (cleveland akron canton & youngstown) have faith in him to do it .
