    Default Chris Eubank

After just having finished watching Chris Eubanks career on dvd i was wondering how you guys rate him? IMO on his day he would have given any SMW some serious problems, im not saying he would have beaten them all but just that he would have given them a run for their money.

Admittedly he didn't always face the greatest opposition but he had a great great chin, an awkward style, great heart and could pull something out of the bag even when needed ala Watson (Sadly).

Reckon you've got it spot on.

I would add though that he was a lazy sod and was one of those guys that annoyingly fight to the level of their opponent.

Definitely. He had poor work rate, would have lost by decision to the likes of Jones and McCallum. But he certainly was a tough bastard.

I agree, a tough opponent for anyone at SM.

Yep i would have to agree that he was pretty lazy, i have read articles where he has agreed with that himself

I loved Eubank, used to stay up with my dad when i was lil to watch him. Got me into boxing. Loved his charisma..i've never seen ring entrances like his either. Electrifying!
I love how honest Eubank is also, a recent interview I read with him left me with my mouth wide open! I think it was on eastside boxing.
Also agree he would fight to the level of his opposition, frustrating but nail biting stuff. A great and legendary boxer. Will be more remembered than Calzaghe in my mind at least.

Last night I watched both of his fights against Collins really good scraps.
