some women crashed into me few weeks back and smashed my trusty corsa 1.2 right in, econimacally wrote off

anyhow ive filled for whiplash with the solicitors cos might get a few quid but its gonna be a while till i see any cash as im claiming from her

but i got a grand stashed away and gotta get summin to get me about, used a bus the other day, felt common!!!

a can get a fiat brava T reg, 48'000 miles for 1100, what ya reckon

I know diddly about cars myself but you can't go wrong with Parkers Guide http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/review...aspx?model=216

Just check through cars on there, they have a used value section which will give you a good estimation of whether it is worth it or not.

Me being in the car business 8+ years, I can tell you at least in the states their are 3 cars that stand head and sholders above the rest... in no paticular order

Honda
Toyota
Subaru

All three of those cars will run forever and retain their value in the states more than any other cars in their class

I dont know how much access you have across the pond and how much they cost, but again those 3 cars are the best investmet you can make in 4 wheel transportation

This man speaks the truth. Honda's and Toyota's a great cars, they run forever. I had a '86 Tercel with 250,000 Km on it, ran fine except the transmittion was starting to go. I sold it for $50 after the timing belt snapped, the guy fixed it up and its still running.
My boss had a 80' Civic with TONS of miles on it and it ran near-perfect, its only problem was a tendency to stall the first time you stopped it after being driven on the highway.
I just got a '99 Pontiac Sunfire (which makes me feel like a bitch when I drive it), but the only reason I bought it was that the price was under $2,000, my uncle gave me a deal on it. Otherwise it would've been a Toyota or Honda (I've never driven a Sub.)

Get a Toyota Yaris, they are really reliable and have good fuel economy. If you wanted a cheaper car that is. Try a Civic or an MR2 MK2 if your not too fussed.

I've got a Mondeo now but most of my cars have been Nissan's.

I've never had a problem with any Nissan car and I've had 4. Ford's are generally shit and rust after a few years but I've always Toyota too.

You can never go wrong with a orange 'Pinto'

JT would you agree that Hyundai is possibly THEE worst car maker ever?
A friend of mine and I argued whos the worst car maker from the more known brands. I'm sure theres some shitty obscure ones.
He says it's KIA, I say it's Hyundai.

Nah Fiat the worst ever, Honda Civic Or Toyota Corolla. Cant go wrong.

Go for a Saxo or sommat like that. Loads about so nice and cheap, plenty to pick from and cost eff all to insure and repair. If it's had it timing belt/exhaust etc done then yer laughin
