i love aoki, he is the fucking man, he was supposed to fight gomi in a future pride show, and i think he was gonna be in the pride LW GP (the card that was already scheduled before zuffa bought pride, they canceled the card after the purchase was made official)

Yeah Sal,I remember you were the first one I heard about Aoki from,he truly is awesome but his fights are so hard to find!! If you have any links to them,let me know brother!! How do you see a fight with Gomi going?

if aoki tried to trade with gomi, which i dont think he would as he laerned his lesson once in shooto when he tried that shit, he would probabl;y get caught and dropped, but he could probably get gomi on the floor and he is good at not getting punched in the face when he is on his back and his opponent is standing, which is what gomi does alot, he would probably be able to get into that position easily and choke gomi out with a guillotine or triangel

Gomi v Aoki would be amazing but only if Gomi is 100% He looks like he has lost some fire to me but he has run through a number of top opponents so maybe he just needed a break.

he was supposed to fight gomi, but since pride is done i think he is only with shooto at the moment, i would guess his next fight would be whenever he has to defend the shooto MW belt
