    Default Hernandez vs Medina?

A clash between former IBF junior lightweight champion Carlos "Famoso" Hernandez (42-7-1, 24 KOs) and five-time featherweight champion Manuel "Manetcas" Medina (67-15-1, 3 KOs) could be in the cards for the near future. Hernandez, who announced his retirement after a loss to Kevin Kelley in September 2006, is currently training in San Antonio for a comeback in the lightweight division. Medina, who is coming off of a technical draw in July in South Africa against Cassius Baloyi in an IBF super featherweight title eliminator,

I Have Always Had a Soft spot For Medina And always Root For Him.I Believe he is one of the uderrated fighters of the present era,IMO.He is not pretty,he is not a Knockout Puncher,He bleeds and cuts when He Just Thinks about shaving,He's old,Sometimes he slaps with his shots, etc,Thats all Been said and O.K,So what.I first saw Him During the Fights With TOm Johnson And I Still Look FOrward To His Fights.
I Think Its A bad fight for Hernandez. I worry about those fighters who retire/unretire like that.If He gets it together mentally and lifts the fog,He can climb back.Medina Wears down and can be roughed up inside.screw All these glory boys pulling out of Big fights Lately,I'll hope to see this one.
Oh Yeh,Johnny,You STILL Lost That Fight!

He Has that short plugger style and I can see him working to the body and breaking down The Crafy medina,as is known to happen. He should come in after a 1 or 2 fight return. That Pressure can get to medina and hernandez will Bring It.good match-up.Just Look at The Level Of Competiton Faced By Both.

To think I actually believed THIS retirement.
I really did, when he said it and how he said it felt real to me.

Whatever, he want's to keep fighting so be it....

I love watching 'Mantecas' fight multiple belt holder, multiple divisions. Hes fought some of the best Feather & Super Feathers around his time hes alway game and always comes to fight.
