I think the biggest news lost in all the hoopla is that Dawson beat Mendoza. Forget overshadowed, Taylor-Pavlik nearly rendered his fight obsolete. Not totally unexpected though, especially with a late change of opponents and a new opponent most people have never heard of.

Another thing that no one has mentioned anywhere, no boxing news sites, no forums, no where.

Quintana was fighting in the Taylor Pavlik undercard (not televises of course) and KOed a fellow named Christopher Henry in 4.

I know, it's not exactly big news but some people here were waiting on when he would come back. I hope he gets a big fight after this. Maybe against Berto.

And you might add that Valuev won a gifted decision over Canadian Jean-Francois Bergeron...
I said this in another thread,but gladly repeat myself here...At best was the fight a draw...
