I don't know if it has been ask befofore. But how  a fight between this 2, you guys think he can take out by ko Wright?

I was thinking about this fight yesterday. I think Pavlik would win on points, because Wright would defend too cautiously and give it away. It could be a great fight though.

I think wright would beat him. But cant honestly see the match happening. Poor Wright he's been a great pro, but just never got the breaks.

Totally agree Winky has just never got the big fights he deserves, I think Winkys Ram rod jab and tight defence would be too much for Pavlik. I dont think Winky would KO Pavlik as he has got a great chin but I think it would go 12 rounds with Winky get the win!!

Thats plenty of big fights.

i said it before the taylor fight, and ill state it again..

pavlik would beat the living shit out of wright, he wouldnt stand a chance.

pavlik wouldnt give a shit about that jab, it would have the same effect as a mosquito bite.. there is not enough power behind it, to make pavlik respect it.

Winky is not active enough on the punch out put lately but with that being said IMO He would still give Kelly a boxing lesson....This is going to sound crazy but after that lesson I see Kelly with a SD only due to Winky's low out put as of late....Pavlik will learn what a true defensive master is though and find out that his power wont always get him through

If Winky does use his jab even for one night like his glory years...hell even thMosley and Trinidad fights Kelly will lose a UD with no question....

Either way Winky stays on his feet

I agree with everything here but the output factor on Winky's part.

Winky throws & has thrown an assload of punches up until he faced Hopkins & Wright was just to heavy for his fighting frame, IWO.

He was really active against Taylor & threw a shitload of shots against Mosley, Quartey, & Tito. The only fight I remember him not unloading was against Soliman & he was sick during that fight & still won by a landslide of accuracy.

I thought Winky was starting to look old against Hopkins, but it could just be that Emmanuel put that idea in my head, or as you said the weight slowed him down.

It was definitely the weight.

He walked in right where I was sitting & I shit you not he was giggling. He had some serious man boobage & giggle to the gut going on...I told the guy & his girl directly beside me that he'd lose...just going off of the way that he wasn't fit for the fight.

After the first headbutt Hopkins had totally take Wink out of his game & it was all down hill from then.

Bernard mugged him for the entire fight.

It was ridiculous. That ref should been fined or either forced to take a headbutt from Hopkins just to give him an idea of what Winky was dealing with.

Wright has proven to be able to take heavy shots & from some pretty powerful customers.

Winky will be a whole lot less susceptible to Pavlik's #1 combo than Miranda & Taylor were...which oddly enough is as plain as the nose on his face...double jab & then straight right hand.

I like Pavlik & I think that right now he's the best figure head for the division...but I don't know that he should get in with Wright right now. The thing about Kelly is...he'll fight anybody anywhere any time...& that's what makes him appealing...that coupled with the fact that no matter who it is that he's fighting...he makes it exciting!

Winky has fought lots of guys with Pav's power. I don't know why everything thinks Pavlik is a huge puncher, because he isn't. Pavlik is a strong stready puncher who wears guys down with consistency and pressure. He does not have anything that Winky has not seen before. I think it would be a competitive fight that goes to the scorecards. Who would win would depend on the judges.

I have to agree about Winky fighting guys with the power equal to Pavlik....IMO P4P Trinidad at 154 was every bit the puncher Pavlik is and more....

Hmmm, this is a good one. I don't know if Wright can take Pavlik pounding on him for 12 rounds. But if he is quick enough to counter all night he could frustrate Pavlik and I dont know what Kelly would be like in the championship rounds.
