Thread: I want to cry!!!!!

So, my Fiance decides to spring a surprise on me for my birthday. She's booked us a weekend away in Devon......next bloody weekend. I'll be staying in a small town called Ashburton. Does anybody know the place or if I will even have a remote chance of seeing the fight there?

This is so depressing , to make matter worse my other half knows i'm not impressed that we're going, especially after I asked her if I could swap the weekend for a Wii

Easy way around it all...stay offline for an entire week & catch the replay on HBO for free...other than that...you're fwocked!

Well my lass, (or fiance in your case) knows the exact date of the fight because I never shut up about it, you should have a bigger mouth
All I can suggest is you change the hotel to one with SKY...or tell her you would prefer not to go in order to see the fight.....but you wont see it if you say that, coz she might just stab your eyes out. Decisions eh?

Lol, I've been going on all year about wanting this fight to happen and told her I was chuffed when the date was set. She completely forgot and has paid out £400 so I can't cancel. I'll have to see if I can find anywhere showing this.

As has been said, I'm in the UK and win or lose, I won't be able to avoid finding out

While my wife loathes the fact that I generally pump out $50 for PPV fights & drop thousands going to Vegas for bouts...she's pretty understanding about it. Oddly enough...it never really settled in what was going on when she pulled the ole' reverse psychology bit on me.

She was all happy for me when I built my boxing theatre deal out back in our garage. Thrilled to death. Even helped me buy the furniture for it...now every Saturday night I get booted outta the house so that she can watch shit like reruns of "Sex In The City" & "Desperate House Wives".

My daughter's a blooming fan of the sport though. Loves to watch the bouts.
