Default Hatton New Year Drinking Marathon

Not sure if this has already been done as it happened in new year.

Anyway Ricky Hatton reported went on a 4 day bender in Tenerife downing 57 pints, 17 vodka and red bulls, 4 vodkas, 3 whisky chasers and a bottle of Moet champagne.

With Ricky wanting to have 5 more fights does anybody think that benders like this will take their toll on him anytime soon?

I know he lives and trains like a monk to get the weight off but surely this must take its toll on his stamina. It may be a possibility that either his usually high workrate drops or he gets really tired in the latter rounds. What do you guys think?

Tip of the month: Protect yourselves at all times. You never know when the scheming bitch will come back for more.

I think, seen as though he has always done it and is known for having great stamina and workrate, it won't have that much of an affect seen as tho he probs aint going to fight for another 6 months anyway.

    Bollocks!

    What an insult to Ricky.

Who counts the amount booze drunk as you go along? He'd of been off his nut, the people with him would of been off their nuts.

It's more like 114 pints, 34 Vodka and red bulls, 8 vodkas, 6 whiskey chasers and two bottles of moet champagne.

Not even Bon Scott or John Bonham drunk that much in 4 days and they are both dead!

Not a shocker but somebody counted the exact amount of drinks he had over four days?

His stamina isn't what it once was and he's workrate has already dropped.
He needs to get himself together.

Not that much different from any working class English lad out on the lash. But, you can tell he is a proper athlete by the way he has avoided the lines of coke and E which are the staple of many an English lads night out ! lol

Is it posible that Ricky is past his prime?

He's still in his prime, it's just that he made his name beating fighters who were well past theirs

Talk all the shit you want about Floyd, but if you truly love boxing, you won't ruin your career like Ricky's doing with his drinking and eating. I can understand blowing off a little steam after a superfight that you lost but this will probably continue. Seriously, if this is true that type of drinking is dangerous for a regular human being much less a boxer. The fucked up thing is that his team isn't getting him under control and is feeding into the Ricky Fatton legend, that shit is only funny when you're winning fights. If this keeps up, his career is over.
