I was just thinking last night that i'm only 26, but i've worked at like 15 different places since I turned 17.. And I got thinking what would be my - Most Interesting Job & my Worst Job..

Most Interesting Job

(I have a tie)
1. Private Investigator and Process server i.e. serving court summons on people... I once had to follow a quite attractive lady around for 2 weeks for a guy who thought his girlfriend was cheating on him.... She wasn't by the way, but he paid $50 an hour, times 11 hours a day, times 14 days... I often think if that was me, would I be happy she wasn't cheating, or pissed off she wasn't cheating and I wasted that much money to find out nothing...
Serving summons on people also let me meet some pretty "interesting/fucking weird" people as well...
2. Staff member at a Drag Strip... On a hot summer night, standing right on the start line between 2 Funny Cars or Top Fuel Dragsters at full revs, Nitro fumes burning my nostrils and eyes, pressing the trigger to start 2 cars hurling down the drag strip at 300 mph in 4 1/2 seconds,,,,, that was freakin awesome... I was only 17 then as well...

Worst Job

Waitering at a wedding on New Years Eve '04 for no money at all (I was scammed out of being paid)..
New years Eve I worked from 7:30am to 3:00am the next morning.. Went home for 3 hours sleep... Then got back to work at 7:30 again and finished at 5pm New Years Day.... Did I mention I was not paid for this? They were highly understaffed and we had to relocate 20 tables and fuck knows how many chairs from an upstairs hall, down stairs, to an outside dining area, at 2am after already working 18 hours straight. I won't even mention how fucked washing all the dishes was between TWO people.. I also added up, between my like, 35 hours working, I had exactly 40 minutes break time, and 1 meal... I quit 4 days later.

Alright, your turn now! I'm sure a few of you would have had your 'hand in the shit' so to speak at some stage of your life to make a quid.
