would shavers have been the only man able 2 floor chuvalo? i think shavers would win--but would he be able to make chuvalom taste the canvas?

who knows with Chuvalo! considering the comp he faced to never hit the canvas is fuking unreal.

Noone got an early win against Chuvalo as far as I see. Might even have him as the favourite to beat Shavers. He never beat anyone who could take his punch and fire back that I remember seeing.

Yes they did Frazier stopped him in 4 and Foreman battered Chuvalo in 3 rounds, and Shavers would do the same who hits harder than Foreman IMO. Shavers did have suspect chin plus stamina. But i don't think that would be a factor in this fight because Shavers would get him out of there early IMO. Shavers was in a war with Roy Williams who was 6'5 and Shavers took his punches very well and comeback and stopped him in a dramatic last round.

Chuvalo had a granite chin and i admire his bravery, but he gets hit far too much and no one can stand toe to toe and keep getting hit clean vs Shavers and i mean no one.
