Thread: Which is your fight of the year so far?

Ok of the six choices which fight is your current favourite?

I'm going to go with Casamayor Katsidis due to the awesome knockout and some incredible action.

What about you guys?

I haven't seen Casamayor vs Katsidis yet but out of the choices i'll say Marquez vs Vasquez 2 but i won't vote until i've seen Katsidis vs Casamayor.

marquez - pacquaio 2, would of preferred a different decision though

It' March nad we have about 4 solid contedners for FOTY already?! Insane if you ask me! I'm going for Marquez v Vazquez qith Joel v Kats and then Manny v JMM2. I don't think anything will be better than Rafa v Isreal.

For me the fight that still at the Year is of Israel Vazquez vs Rafael Marquez 3 they been hitting each other since the beginning until the end in which put to all the people in a situation of intrigue in who going win and was emotionally........

My top three would go that exact way you chose.

Raf-Marq will be the fight of the year, barring the follow-up suicide stories when Ruiz captures a belt or two.

I voted for Joel Casamayor vs Michael Katsidis as it was high drama, with Katsidis down twice in the 1st then coming back later in the fight to put Casamayor through the ropes. Then the great finish by Casamayor. Gripping action.

I agree it was very good WelshDevil, however Marquez-Vaz put an exclamation point on a GOAT trilogy, with very high skill level. On top of that, the Casa/Kats fight had a disappointing finish.

I voted for Marquez vs Vasquez. It was great from start to finish.

Casamayor-Katisids for sure!!! How much more back and forth slugest and knockOUT in the ring fest could you ask for and it's just in Boxing after dark I have lots of the respect for both fighters!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I voted Israel/Rafael 3

Went this Pac-Marquez 2, slightly over Vasquez-Marquez 3. Great year for boxing and should be more great fights to come.

I voted for MP-JMM 2 coz Pat Russell did a not so perfect ring judgement on IV-RM 3. He called a shot in the belt-line as low blow. That fight should've been a draw. I can't blame why Beristain and Quintana are formaly filing a protest Vazquez's camp.

Vasquez-Marquez for the back and forth action, and then the ending. Vasquez won that fight in the last 20-30 seconds of the fight!
