Thread: Why is the WWE plugging Antonio Tarver and giving out wrong info!!!!

OK I was flicking through channels and went past raw....Heard Val Venis music co I kept it on for a min (Thought the guy was dead) anyhow....What really caught me was the fact a picture of Tarver and Woods was on the screen....They were wishing Tarver luck in his fight with Woods and declaring the bout for the "Undisputed Lightheavyweight championship"...then Jim Ross says..."If our friend beats Clinton Woods in this upcoming bout he will be the undisputed IBF light heavyweight champion".....

OK we all know boxing needs more mainstream exposure and bigger fanbase but this is not a good thing IMO....It is like they are making championships into a story line...People who do not know the sport all that well might believe this stuff.

They believe tarver about the IBO belt being a legitimate belt (which I will deal with latr) and assume that when a fighter unifies it make s him undisputed.
