P4P toughest guy on the planet,period.Rugged and he is going to dut off Cotto. ANYONE else at WW would have been KTFO by Kermit. The guy hits HARD. Not Tony. ANOTHER RING TOP 10 he beats. What a badass mofo!

Margarito looked very good in there. Cintron had no answers to that. Margarito would just walk through whatever was thrown at him.

I dont think Kermit has what it takes amongst the highest order at WW to be honest. But Tony did what he had to do against who was in front of him so well done on that.

A Cotto fight would be fantastic. There are a lot of guys I would like to see Margarito fight actually.

Margarito is a very tough guy for sure , Cintron is frigile , but yes he looked good in there . I really dont know how Williams beat him ,
Cotto Margarito will be very exciting , but Cotto wins for me .

Yea your boy looked real good, his punches were still wide but he was combination punching and he was actually punching shorter which is good. He also totally ripped Cintron's body apart Cintron was actually doubling over as early as the 2nd round Cintron got totally dominated from the opening bell. I expected Cintron to lose in the 7th but i expected bit more resistance from Cintron.

I honestly think Margarito would for certain beat Williams in the rematch, Margarito is normally slow starter but he has started very fast in his last two fights, if he shows that aggression early against Williams should they rematch and he will for certain win IMO.

As for Cotto vs Margarito thats a pick em fight, Margarito has a good uppercut which is one of Cotto's biggest weaknesses, and plus i can't see Cotto beating Margarito in a brawl. Cotto's punches are shorter plus he has better boxing skills than Margarito so he can fight on the back foot and outbox Margarito, it just depends on how Cotto approaches the fight.

All these people they were disrespecting Margarito didn't have a clue about Margarito end of, the guy has made multiple defenses at Welterweight and when he lost to Williams he hadn't lost at Welterweight for almost a decade, not counting the Santo's fight because that was at Jr Middleweight and i think Margarito won that fight as well. Its about time people start realizing Margarito is actually a good fighter and is one of the top Welterweights in the world.

It was a good perfomance from Tony, I still slightly favor Cotto but its a great fight. I gotta disagree a bit about Cintron, I'm pretty sure you know I don't like Clottey but I think he'd beat Kermit. Judah, who knows, two headcases. And I think Cotto would wreck Cintron too. Tony's more durable than Cotto and Cintron could rock Cotto but Cotto has much better defense than Tony and I don't see him taking as many big shots. He'd get Cintron out of there in 5-7 rounds IMO.

Good performance though, he's a mean dude, and it might as well happen since PBF and ODLH are going to be busy with their trilogy.

Tony already beat Cintron...sure both guys have improved since then but not to the point where Margarito is the favorite over Cotto and if he is GET ME TO MY BOOKY!


Miguel Cotto is mentally tough, he doesn't show any lack of confidence in his body language, and he goes to the body better than anyone I have seen since Mike McCallum

I would like to see him fight Williams again just to show him he won due to Tony having a slow start and he is not the dominate fighter like he claimed for a year....Turn his annoying ass into the "Punished"

After all those endless battles defending Margarito we are still here.

Damn! it feels good. Wheres frozensolid, Starr and rest of the anti-Margarito gang?

It sucks now tho, cause both of our boys might fight eachother.
I'll certainly applaud the winner and embrace it but I'll be pushing for Cotto slightly.

I have been a Marg fan for years and years. Always loved his style. He is pure and mean. I always thought with his give and take style that his career would be short one, and man I am so happy he has proved me wrong. He punches non stop at angles that will penetrate any defense.

I have been on the Cotto bandwagon since the Corley fight and have followed him ever since.

I think Cotto is the only welterweight who could beat Marg right now. I think Marg would steamroll the rest with his now fast starts and relentlessness. Antonio is just so strong.

Cotto just keeps getting better and better. Not only is he the best body puncher in the game, but his timing, speed, defense and power seem to be getting better with each fight. I think he has the best timing of any fighter alive right now.

Both of them will take something from each other when they meet in the ring. If Cotto can avoid Marg's uppercuts, which is difficult as Marg throws them from anywhere, he will won. If he cannot avoid them, Marg will win.

People are overrating him way too much. Since when did doing the same thing twice against an unproven fighter gain you so much respect? Tony is a brawler who has limited skills and speed, and would get worked by Floyd Mayweather. Also the more I think about the more I believe Cotto would also beat him badly, I think Cotto like against Gomez would consistently get off first and Margarito wouldn't be able to get off because Cotto's punches would keep him off balance.
