Just heard that Dunstan had an interview with the Central Area Council yesterday and they are reccommending that he be given back his license.
This is superb news for boxing and for Terry...A welcome return of a great champion![]()

Boxer jailed for assaults
Terry Dunstan after defending his British title in 1996
Former European cruiserweight champion Terry Dunstan has been jailed for eight-and-a-half years for two attacks on women.
Both assaults were on staff of Slug and Lettuce pubs in central London in a bid to make them hand over keys to the bar tills, the Old Bailey was told.
Dunstan, 32, of Battersea, south London, admitted charges of false imprisonment, blackmail and aggravated burglary.
He told the court: "There is nothing I can say apart from I am very sorry.
Win in 20 seconds
"I know it will not help them but I would like to say sorry to the victims, their families and colleagues and for wasting the court's time."
Dunstan, a former British champion, won the European cruiserweight title in February 1998 when he beat Russian Alexander Gurov after just 20 seconds at the Elephant & Castle Leisure Centre.
One month later he lost his only world title bid when he was stopped by IBF champion Imamu Mayfield in Hull.

Terry wasnt a bad fighter. Just wonder what he might have left at 40 but as he hasnt fought for years he might have quite a bit in the tank. If he can come through a few tune up bouts he could certainly fight for the British title and if he happened to come through that then there is some decent money for him to be made.
Just depends what he has left.
