Thats disapointing, I'm sure he'll be back in when he grabs one of the major belts this year and beats Paulie.
B-hop is alittle high for me.

Ah damn these new rankings at first taste so sweet but then leave a nasty bitter aftertaste.
Of course Hatton shouldn't be in the top 10, no fighter from the light welter division should even be in the top 30 it's an absolute wasteland of a division.
If the light welterweight division were a geographic region it would be the Balkans, a primitive backwater, entirely uninteresting and completely irrelevent to the rest of the world.
So it's right and proper that Hatton is gone.
But to bring in Christian Mijares?
It's almost as if the Ring is trying to piss me off specifically. I can only assume that Oscar want's a piece of Mijares and so the courting process is underway. He already has Hatton and Haye, so he may as well get Mijares and have my 4 most loathed boxers all under one banner.
But seriously surely if you want to put a little guy there Ivan Calderon has done more.
The flyweight division is absolute shit, Mijares is the best in a mediocre division. It gets a lot of attention but honestly fighters like Arce and Darchinyan are poor men's Arturo Gatti's, Montiel is only ok, and Munoz was never that hot to begin with losing to Martin Castillo who has been done for years. They all suck and Mijares being the best is no means enough to warrant a place amongst the world's elite.
I do disagree with one part of your post Bilbo, and that is the part about someone shouldn't be in the top 30 (I know this is an exagerration) if they are in a weak division. If Floyd had stayed at 140 for the last 2 years do you think he shouldn't be top 10??

Must you bash hatton with every post you make
guy may not be the p4p champion but he most certainly is the peoples champion.

I hope you don't honestly believe that if Hatton walks through Paulie he deserves to back in the top 10 P4PQuote:

Damn right lefty. As simple as that.
Hatton will destroy Paulie even paulie cant punch for shit which will allow hatton to walk in face first and smash him up on the inside
In my opinion the only way Hatton can get back in to the top 10 would be to go back to WW, I feel sorry for him at the moment because there is no-one at LWW that can make him great.
If and its a big IF, Pac can make it up to 140 then that could be a great fight but Hatton loses either way. He wins then pac was too small and Hatton shouldn't have picked on the little guy.
If he loses he's shot and not worth shit
sorry if I have gone off topic
Hatton shouldn't be in the top 10 and I cant see him getting back in unfortunately

Hopkins at 5 ?
He's lost 3 of his last 5 fights
Has Hatton looked like one of the ten best fighters in the world lately? I don't think so.
Bilbo your hate for Mijares is getting out of control.I'm not sure why I'm arguing with you about this, but the super flyweight division does not suck. Mijares and Montiel are both very good fighters. Munoz is a good fighter, and when he lost to Castillo that Castillo had not "been done for years." I'm not sure if you even saw it but the Castillo that beat Munoz the first time was in his prime and was a very good fighter. The Castillo of the second fight might have been slightly on the downside but he had shown no signs of that before and was not shot like he was in the Montiel fight. Arce and Vic are overrated (or at least were) but are still solid enough contenders. Well maybe not Arce, he's close to shot. Navarro's a solid fighter, guys like AJ Banal and Gorres are pretty good prospect/contenders.
You can make a case that its one of the better divisions actually, its certainly better than a lot of other ones.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
You could have a point, maybe, but this place in Croatia is anything but uninteresting
