Smile De La Hoya Vs Hatton???

If Hatton takes this fight forget the money for a minute it means his i'm not big enough at Welterweight theory is just BOLLOCKS!!!.I think he will get KO'd quick if he takes this fight as he now has no guard leads with his face and Oscar will be to strong to hold and grapple with. But the $20MILLION could make it worth his while.

It would be interesting with the pre-fight hype. Hatton gets hit with left hooks pretty easily and guess what? De La Hoya's best punch happens to be just that.

De La Hoya has only been knocked out once in his career and it came from a body shot. Hatton loves to work the body. Another good match-up in style.

But once the bell rings, Oscar's size would be too much and he would knock Hatton out. Possibly earlier than Mayweather did.

Hatton will be destroyed against ODLH....everyone complained PBF was too big (which i think is a JOKE, considering Hatton naturally bigger) but ODLH is alot bigger then PBF so Hatton will already know his work will be cut out. If Oscar is up for this one...then he could stop him late as mayweather did!

This bout would be the biggest joke in the history of the sport if you ask me. Nothing more then a freak show. It would hold no merit in anyway and other then a payday neither man would benefit regardless of the winner

I really don't see this happening.

If Hatton is going to be in a big megafight, it will be against Pacquiao at 140.

Even i dont give hatton much chance in this one. I would however completely understand his reasons for taking the fight at some point next year if it was his way to have one final hurrah with one of the only big names left in the sport.

Hatton is naturally a 140pound fighter, ODLH moving even to around the 150 mark is just crazy.

Let ODLH have one final swing at greatness and fight the winner of cotto/marg.

Let hatton do a calzaghe and finish off any remaining questions within his division before one final huge payday against a cotto or pacquiao

    I agree.

    There's just no middle ground.

De La Hoya can't make 140 and Hatton aint going to effective above 140. Pointless fight really.

Hatton gets ko'ed in 4.Bad fight for Ricky he has no advantages in this fight at all apart from he is younger.De La Hoya is to big and to strong. What weight will this fight happen as well cause against Forbes he couldnt make the 147lbs and Ricky struggles when he goes above 140.

a silly fight that should not be made. De la hoya wins by stoppage if it happens though.
