Against my will, I'm starting to get into these guys, what are some of their better songs. Dress Like a Target reminds me a bit of GSTK-era Pantera.

Lol; they're an acquired taste. "Use Once and Destroy" is an awesome album. I love the whole thing, but "F#ck Your Enemies" and "4 Songs" are my favorite tracks. Phil just goes off on "4 Songs".
Oh and "It Takes No Guts" is a chilling, brutal song about incest![]()
Cool, thanks for the link. I'm still not a huge fan of them, but I'm definitely warming up to them. If only Phil would keep his fucking mouth shut when he isn't singing.
Holy fuck, I was watching a video on youtube that Phil made about Dimebag's murder, touching stuff actually, and I noticed in the sidebar that video footage of the shooting is on youtube. No fucking way would I ever want to see anything like that, I'm amazed and pissed off that it's even allowed on youtube
.
I didn't realize Superjoint was split up. Maybe I'll have to start listening to Down to get my fix of Anselmo vocals.
If you're starting to warm up to them; you'll be jamming to them regularly soon![]()
And as far as keeping his mouth shut, no one's perfectThey still have a website up, superjointritual.com, and they've had that video of Phil after Dime's death up since right after it happened. As usual he's stoned. And there is alot of stuff on youtube that shouldn't be there, we just only realize that when we ourselves get touched by something
Kind of like rotten.com; it's all funny and sh#t until one of our loved ones is on there.

Fuck man, I can't stop listening to these guys. What a devastatingly insidious band.
They're a good band{were anyways} Very garage sounding but tight. I know you said the drummer was a poor man's Vinnie, but it's not true. That boy can play
Don't know if you've listened to "4 Songs" yet, but that song makes me go wildman

The drummer can play, no doubt, his style just reminds me a bit of Vinnie Paul (maybe because to me VP is the quintessential metal drummer). He's a damn good drummer though. If you want to hear a great metal drummer, check out Tomas Haake from Meshuggah.
I'm definitely becoming a fan of these guys, I really like their punk shit. Waiting for the Turning Point rips my balls off every time I hear it. I'll be loading their cd's on to my mp3 player, so I'll have plenty of time to listen to them when I'm sitting in my tent cursing the fact that I was dumb enough to sign on to this field school.
