Default Best Knockdown Punches Moving Backwards

Was just thinking about this, and not to many I can think of. I can think of a few off the ropes but not to many moving backwards.

Obviously Hatton-Mayweather is the one you first think of but what are some other good ones? Whitaker-Lomelli was very similar if I remember right if was a right hook off the backfoot that did the job.

well technically the mayweather one was only a knockdown, not a KO, but it was still awesome..

but i remember RJJ KO'ing guys while moving sideways, i'm sure he's done one moving backwards, no?

That's right I always forget that Hatton got up from that punch.

I'm sure Jersey Joe Walcott had some, that was his trademark, step back like he's moving away then bam.

I thought SRR was stepping forward with his left foot when he lands the punch. Might need to look closer at that one myself...
Were talkin' about the left hook right? In fight #2.

Jackson was stepping back when he caught Herol with the right hook.
Pettaway was also stepping back when he caught Simon the left hook.
Alis right hand as he stepped back when he caught Liston.

The left hook that starched Mitchell thrown by Joseph P Calzaghe was brutal.

Wasn't Mitchell-Calzaghe stopped on their feet?

Fair enough it was a while ago since I saw the fight, before the Lacy fight. Saw it live too, always thought it was a crap stoppage.

But you are right there aren't many at all some good ones mentioned, Robinson-Fullmer is a good one. Robinson was stepping back on Fullmer that entire fight which proved to be the difference. He was moving backwards I remember it pretty clearly he kept stepping back and setting his feet real quick, firing off and then moving. Did the same there.
