Currious to know what happened to him. After the Guthrie pro fight I lost sight of him.

Right now Darin Allen is back in Columbus, Ohio. Married with 6 children. He is a born again christian. He never fought again after the Guthrie fight for sevral reasons. He has taken on the job of being a family man and is now walking with the Lord.

I worked with Allen as an amatuer and I remember him and Guthrie going at it a couple of times way back in those days.

It's good to hear that he is walking with the Lord.

Wow! Six kids? are any of them boxing or playing any sports?

Gary Cummings I spoke with Darin Allen and he was overwhelmed to hear the things you said about him. He told me you were like brothers and how much of a positive impact that you had on his life.
