Just rewatched the jones jr-virgil hill fight and couldnt believe the sheer power he managed to get into that rib shot.

Only one that comes close to that is hattons on castillo.

Both you mention come top for me with RJJ's KO in first place. It was not just the power of the shot but the accuracy, he could easily have hit an elbow and smashed his hand but it was utter perfection in placement. Looked fucking painful aswell

Oh come one. Let's be real. How can you say that the ONLY ONE that comes close is Hatton's against Castillo? There have been so many that were devastating!!

If we were to judge by reactions one would have to say B-Hops shot against Oscar

My vote was for this one, i think there were 4 punches in that whole fight and boom Nagy (who was known for his toughness) crumbles.

Yes Nagy came all the way from Denmark, undercard of HBO, big spotlight and he was gone in a minute. Barrios is the man. I was paintballing that day on my friends ridge, went in to watch the replay of the Barrera-Juarez the next morning and because that one was so short got to see it.

Didnt Trinidad finish Pendleton with a body punch? That was pretty brutal if i recall correctly. Was very similiar to RJJ's on Hill
Kostya Tszyu stopped Corey Johnson with a body shot as well.

I remember watching this fight and i think RJJ was doing the commentary and Ward had lost all six rounds then out of nowhere comes the best body shot i have ever seen, down goes Sanchez and that was the end of that!!

same thing I was thinking most of Cotto's body shot ko's were more devastating, and one that pops into my head is also Gatti's win over Dorin

Jones KO body shot on Sugar boy Malinga was also very harsh and sudden

McCallum landed some tasty body shots in his career and a good example was the first round against Watson, who was breathing hard at the end of only the first round. He also landed a deadly body shot against Walker where everyone winced when it landed because everyone saw it coming except the opponent.

Tyson landed some hard shots against Ruddock, must have bruised some of his ribs. Danny Williams took a lot of them too.

JCC and Mickey Ward had beautiful body shots too.
