I mean current and alltime status... I mean is Joe gonna be called overrated? Is Roy gonna get his due credit?

Short term the commentators will go nuts and shove him back up in 10 p4p, which would be justified due to Joe's status. Some will say he's back on form, but the truth would be that stylistically Joe's recent lack of power suited him compared to the two knockout losses, and he probably won't be back to his old self in reality.

His all time status was assured long ago, and hopefully the two KO losses won't be such a factor when his career is reviewd in the future.

Jones is an all time great but he is way past his best. Calzaghe will make those old legs pay. Calzaghe is not overrated and its quite likely that he will be looking to do a serious number on Jones after the Hopkins fight. Calzaghe will want to sparkle and Jones is going to be the fall guy.

He's gonna get mauled. I dont even think this fight should happen and would much rather Calzaghe at least faced a real live shot.

The best story that can happen in this fight is a Roy KO win.

It will be viewed as one of those great legend comebacks.

Whether or not internet fans rate Calzaghe - he's highly rated, respected and regarded by the boxing world.. including influential persuaders like The Ring.

(unfortunately for Roy and his supporters the reality is he gets duffed up )

I find it quite funny that people are so dismissive of Roy... Its not like he is an old Ali a fat Larry Holmes or James Toney... I like Joe but I think Jones hands will be to fast for him to handle

Is there any possibility that Joe could put some pepper into his shots and try to clear Roy out?

Time is a teller and results tell even more. Jones is an old fighter as much as you will try to convince yourself otherwise. Jones has no legs and Calzaghe is the worst fighter to lose your legs against.

You have finally realised how good Joe is and to back a Jones who is so old and been beaten up so soundly in recent years is surprising. The recent Jones wins mean nothing because Calzaghe is leagues above anything Jones has beaten in many a year.

Calzaghe can overwhelm him. No doubt.

This is one fight where I don't think the winner is a foregone conclusion. Neither one of these guys is a spring chicken and Joe looked a little shopworn against Hopkins. I think the most likely result is a Calzaghe UD, but I wouldn't be surprised with just about any outcome - unless if someone parachutes into the ring.

Calzaghe has just been cleaning out a division and gone up and beaten the so called best in that division. Jones hasnt done a thing. Oh, he beat a natural Welterweight who moved up to light heavyweight. Seriously, this is a mis-match big time. Jones will probably get stoppped. But at least he is getting well paid.

All time he would be top 20. But this would get Calzaghe out of the top 10 p4p and maybe Jones at the 10 spot. But I would not see him personally in my opinion at the top current p4p.

If Roy Jones Jr wins he goes legitimately in the top 20 p4p fighters ever, if he doesn't win I don't think this hurts him at all, nor should it gain Calzaghe further recognition.

...I think it'll raise more questions about Calzaghe than answer questions about Roy. RJJ pissed me off just by giving Tarver a rematch, Tarver never would have been satisfied even if Roy KO'd him he would always want another match then another and another.
