Default Duran Vs Chavez at lightweight in their primes who would win?

Been thinking about this for a while now so I thought I might aswell post it on here and see what you boxing experts think if these 2 Latin Legends could have fought each other both in their primes at Lightweight. I have changed my mind about 100 times thinking about it but I'm gonna say Duran just may have had that little bit too much for Julio Cesar Chavez!

There was only one Roberto "Mano de Piedra" (Hands of Stone) Duran. He was a monster at lightweight. In a tough, exciting battle... he overwhelms Chavez with a middle to late-round KO.

Duran was still an excellent fighter above his natural weight class against legendary caliber fighters even in losing efforts, I can just imagine how great he was in his natural weight class.

I dunno about that, really. The fact that Duran was able to beat Leonard at Welter, and go 15 rounds with Hagler at middleweight is probably largely due to the ring smarts he had that would have proven to much for Chavez imo. Not saying it directly supports that thought, but I couldn't imagine Chavez ever even living with SRL at welter, not to mention go 15 with Hagler and fight all the bigger guys like Duran did. He was a monsterous Super feather and LW as well, but Duran was clearly a better natural fighter imo, and just as strong at lightweight as Chavez.

Duran would win but it would be a good fight as long as it lasted.

As much as I like Chavez, this really shouldn't be up for debate.

Chavez is an all time great, but Duran is an all time LEGEND and is the Greatest Lightweight ever and one of the best P4P ever.

Duran by late KO. (Round 11 or 14)

I agree with this, except I don't think Duran would score a KO, I think he wins by clear decision.
