Default Just watched David Haye v Lolenga Mock.

My Haye career set arrived today and the first fight on my mind was Haye v Lock as I've heard Haye was badly shaken. I couldn't believe how bad Haye looked in round 2 especially but he didn't do well thorughout. He was looking for the 1 shot KO all night. He had his left hand lower than usual and got dropped heavily in the second and looked stagged towards the end of the 4th. The second round he held on for life and fell on top of Lock immediately after getting knocked down. Haye took a shot to the temple and I thought at one moment he wouldn't make the count. I have to give him credit though, he produced a sensational uppercut in the 4th knocking Lock down. What a shot. The ref stopped it after that which was a bit premature seeing as Lock didn't look hurt. What a fight, but Haye was badly hurt. Still think he would knock Klitchsko out btw. Just watch the Alexander Gurov fight, but thats for another thread. Anyone who hasn't seen Haye v Lock I suggest you do. Another fight which proves Haye is one of the most exciting fighters in the world.

Superstars of Boxing - Home I've been looking for one for ages and got it here. £14 as well including postage. The quality is awesome. each fight has interviews beforehand and after and the fights taken off sky also have the preview etc. I'd recommend it mate.

Cheers mate I'll get that, glad it has interviews before and after, I absolutely fucking despise career sets that just start with both fighters the ring and end as soon as the decision/winner has been announched

I remember watching this fight and thinking Haye is going NOWHERE. He seemed shockingly chinny.

Not long after this Thompson duffed him up though.. which may well have been a blessing in disguise

I agree it made him relize he carnt just blast through everyone and expect them to drop then relize your fuked your self and get stopped.I think it worked well against that Italian Fraggamini (not sure on spelling) Haye had to dig deep to get him out of there. If he never lost against Thopmson i think he would of lost to Fraggamini the same way,but he seems to have learn his lesson.

Yeah, I think you're right, the Fragomeni fight may well have been his first loss was it not for the Thompson experience.. had to deal with the cut too. Also set him up nice for Mormeck
