Post Do you consider Margarito mexican?

He was born in California. He moved to Tijuana when he was two O_o... That's like saying Oscar is puertorican because he lives in puerto rico. Although Margo has spent almost all his life in Mexico he was born in the states making him mexican-american. That's how people label oscar, and vargas.

Margarito is American by birth, but nationalized himself as Mexican in order to live there.
    He has a dual citizenship.

In the books today he is considered Mexican.

De La Hoya has not nationalized himself as Puerto Rican and keep in mind PR is part of the US.

Anyway... all this is political shit.

This is fairly ridiculous, it's like if my parents were in the military and I was born in Korea to American parents and then moved back to America at 2. Would I not be American? Of course. It's not like his parents weren't Mexican.
