He was born in California. He moved to Tijuana when he was two O_o... That's like saying Oscar is puertorican because he lives in puerto rico. Although Margo has spent almost all his life in Mexico he was born in the states making him mexican-american. That's how people label oscar, and vargas.

Margarito is American by birth, but nationalized himself as Mexican in order to live there.
He has a dual citizenship.

In the books today he is considered Mexican.

Yeah i most def know that Puerto Rico is part of the United States. <_<... Yet the people don't call themselves americans do they? Nope they are puertoricans... Same reason why we see a miss america and a miss Puerto Rico compete... This is fairly ridiculous, it's like if my parents were in the military and I was born in Korea to American parents and then moved back to America at 2. Would I not be American? Of course. It's not like his parents weren't Mexican.
