"Now Hatton has his eyes on a similar pay-day, and a second shot at becoming the pound-for-pound best boxer in the world by winning the bout."

Ok, news flash to Hatton and whoever may agree with this sentance:

IF DE LA HOYA BEATS PACMAN, DE LA HOYA WILL NOT BE THE NEW #1 P4P. YOU DO NOT BEAT A GUY WHO WEIGHTS ABOUT 40LBS LESS THAN YOU AND CALL YOURSELF THE #1 P4P.

So if De La Hoya wins, which he should, and Hatton wins, which I have my doubts about, a showdown between these two will have NO bearing on the P4P standing.

To comment on the fight, I think DLH is too big, strong and fast for Hatton and will take Hatton out in the mid rounds (if not earlier).

I think Hatton should spend his time worrying about the fight he has on his hands, because Malignaggi is very fast, slick and he's tough as nails. Hatton has his work cut out for him and if he thinks he's going to walk over Paulie he's mistaken.

Hatton will get torn up by Oscar. Hatton should focus more on Paulie, as he'll be lucky to win that fight.

Hatton has unfortunatley turned into a money machine, its as simple as that. He knows he is getting on now and why in gods name would he try 147 again after both his fights there he has failed and admitted he is not comfortable there?

Hatton should concentrate on cementing his legacy at 140 imo, the division is quite weak. He should try and fight the best at 140 and not be bothered about the 15-25 million he would make against Dela Hoya becasue he will loose again.

Also i dont like Hatton who seems to be here there and everywhere while trying to prepare for a world title fight, he does late night guest appearances all the time, which i dont agree with while in camp, hes all about the money now, which is a shame as he has plenty of money already.

Doesn't sound to bad to me. Would you not get your ass whipped for 20 million?

It says Hatton would be lining up a shot at becoming p4p no.1. Beating Oscar (which I don't think he would) would not do that. Oscar hasn't been anywhere near no.1 p4p for years now so how would it make Ricky the top dog?

Certainly beating a man who was once considered no.1 for a short while whilst the world was sulking at RJJ about 10 years ago cannot make you no.1 in the world. Thats like David Haye KOing Evander and then being recognised as the best heavyweight in the world.

    Tho this is very remote...

"Hatton also mentioned that if PAC wins over Hoya, he's willing to fight the PACMAN at 140 lbs..."
