So your basically saying what everyone is saying. De La Hoya isn't the old De La Hoya, the fact that Forbes got through and landed alot of clean shots doesn't bode well for ODLH. Forbes has no power compared to Pacman. I think ODLH has to win by k.o. to save face, he is picking a fighter that just recently moved up, and was still 2 division below ODLH.

People are being dumb saying Oscar isn't the old oscar, remember how Gatti landed a ton of a hard shots on Oscar? How easily Mosley landed in their first fight? IMO Oscar is harder to hit now, and though he doesn't throw as much, or quite as hard, he is still very fast, and he still has his reflexes. FIghting a really good counter puncher like Forbes who is as fast as you will mean you will be hit, but its really hard when a guy like Forbes is hard to hit cleanly, and he can handle anyone's punch.

I just don't see how Manny can win this match. I think Manny's got the clear advantage in handspeed and stamina even though ODLH's hands are still fast, but that's it. Oscar's smarter, MUCH bigger, MUCH taller, has better defense, has a SERIOUS left hook which Manny has shown he still really has no defense for. All of this BS about Oscar's shoulder and Manny's beating up big guys in sparring is just to sell the fight. Somehow these guys have to make this fight seem more competitive than it truly is. Sometimes, I think people want to believe anything just for the sake of a big fight.

Come on people, as a boxing community, are you guys serious? Just for one second, don't look at any of the hype surrounding the fight or anything, honestly, tell me one way that Pacquiao can beat ODLH. I'm not bashing anybody, I just wanna see what yall are thinking.

Man, if Manny Pacquiao wins, I will be happy as hell but I still won't believe it even if I saw it with my own eyes.

I hate the damn hype for this fight!!! It's just going to make Oscar's victory seem all the more grand than it really is. Oscar's fighting a much smaller man! I don't care how much hype anyone (including Oscar himself and his hype machinery) piles on.

People are going on and on about how Pac actually has a chance to win. Why?!?!? Again, nothing would please me more. But it's not gonna happen. Oscar may even KO Pac, which is something Oscar hasn't done in a long time. And he's gonna come off looking like some sort of hero, when he ISN'T!! Why doesn't he fight Margarito? Or someone else that can actually kick his ass?

I have refused to watch even a SINGLE episode of DLH-Pac 24/7. It's just not worth the hype. Will I watch? Yeah, probably... and in the process help make DLH richer. But it will be in the desperate and sick hope that somehow lightning will strike and Pac will knock Oscar on his a$$$$.

And if it sounds like I'm pissed off, it's probably because I am.

Myself and the rest of the heathens have very litttle influence on those artistes that ODLH decide are going to serenade the fight itself.......or at least what ODLH does within the community. If god says.....eh eh.

typical immaturity has to talk negative on things that doesnt has to do with boxing, because he does not know boxing.

Oscar is still fast man did you watch the forbes fight? the reason oscar couldnt take forbes or floyd jr out is because they are fast like pernell whitaker they are elusive.

Oscar is 2 times faster then manny pacquiao and it will show with the 8 oz gloves.
