Thread: If Pacquiao wins.........

My personal happiest moment in boxing was Tito-Vargas. Two of my happiest moments in boxing not involving Puerto Rican fighters in championship matches have been: Tszyu-Judah, and Barrera-Hamed.

If Pacquiao beats Oscar, that will certainly rank among my top 10 moments. But if lightning were to strike, and Pac somehow lands a lucky KO punch on ol' Oscar..... that would probably land the moment at # 2 for me. I'll be happily drunk for a week.

If Pac wins, he will be declared as a living saint in the Philippines.

If he KO's Oscar, I'll consider changing my name to PacquiaoFan.

God knows I'd love to see him beat De La Hoya, Oscar is a bit too much of a media-man for my tastes, but I just can't see it happening.

If I had to put money down on an outcome, I'd say DLH starts out cautiously, making sure Pac can't hurt him with anything he throws. When he's satisfied of that, he'll realize that he has to win the fight big... 'cause some of us fight fans think he's a coward going after smaller fighters. And since Pacquiao isn't one to back up or fight on the defensive, he would mix it up with Oscar. And somewhere around the 7th to 9th round, Pac would throw a right jab and leave himself open for a left hook from Oscar. And that would be the beginning of his downfall. Oscar could foreseeably KO Pacquiao in the later rounds, to avoid a wimpy decision win.

Needless to say, however... I would be happy to lose a bet like that.

My final scenario of the fight (whatever round this would be):

... With a big cut on his right cheek, Oscar desperate to land a big left hook on Manny. Luckily Oscar got the opening he's waiting for, Manny leaning forward was caught squarely on the chin by a big left hook... but at the same time, Manny's own powerful left hook landed with a big thud on Oscar's body... Manny crashing on the canvass and frantically grabbing the nearby ropes... Oscar back stepping 2 steps with his eyes still focusing on the knockdowned Manny then suddenly Oscar fall on his knees grimacing in great pain... The still shaky Manny is back on his feet with the aid of the ropes on the count of nine... while the kneeling Oscar still grimacing in pain, crying and slapping the canvass with his gloves... Manny beat the count and Oscar did not...

Manny wins by KO...

then fan man came back and punch the ref in the face, then tyson came in drowling and bit oscars ear. then suddenly mab ran up to pac to hit him with another cheap shot, eric then runs after mab. hopkins tries to get tyson of oscar, shane jumps and hugs pac a little to physically. Penalosa tries to get shane of pac. fan man is running around the ring like he won the main event raising his hands, while the ref is on the floor knocked out. micheal buffer tries to announce the winner but tyson turns his attention towards micheal, micheal screams like a biotch over the microphone. everyone is laughing there ass off. pac tries to run to freddy, but nacho punches freddy. pac screams what are you doing nacho? jmm tackles pac, and here comes mab back and kicks pac balls. eric is gas outside the ring, mab turns to him and screams come on fat boy keep up. Hamed gets a cheap shot on mab, and screams who you calling fat boy! Hamed then hits fan man with a folding chair, he is now dancing as if he won the main event.

All along on saddoboxing.com wacko is trying to do his rbr, people are thinkg his really really extra drunk but his sober as ever and really telling it like it is. people can't believe whats going on. thousands of miles away from vegas, Bush is cheering in the white house but Obama punches him in the face and then....

If Pac wins by TKO, the Philippine Government will declare December 7(Philippine Time) as Pacquaio Day.


I will personally declare DEcember 8 (Monday, next day after the fight) as a holiday so that all the Filipinos can rejoice in the streets.

I like them both so this would be a better scene if this happens.They both landed left hooks at the same time.Oscar to the head and Pac to the liver.Pac was out of balance and went down 1st.As the ref turned his back Oscar takes a knee.he broke a rib.then as the count finishes and Pac back on his feet.Oscar is still on a knee.a bit of confusion by the ref if he should count or immediately declare Pac as the winner.He approaches Oscar and asks him if he can continue.Oscar then heard the 10sec signal.It was the 12th round.Oscar awkwardly rose from his knees to finished the fight as the bell sounded right before Pac unleashes another flurry.Oscar wobbles and the ref separated them a bit late because the crowd was so loud he did not hear the bell.Oscar won 115-113.with the 12th round being scored 10-8 for him.

this forum is gonna go bananas! lots of issues.whether the ref should have stopped the fight when it's clear Oscar is injured and can't continue with less than 20 seconds to go.

Hell Oscar figures he won already, He is wearing nothing but Ring Gear and he is smiling all the damn time & plus he just looks to damn relaxed...... Me hoping for an upset.

He knows he should be winning this fight,and I think he wants the people from 'the Ring' to be nice with him.Oscar wants his name in the list after this fight.

He's already considered a saint there...but don't worry because it's not going to happen.

That would be a history making fight even more so that this one..
