    Default Worst undercard ever?

    Those 3 fights were pathetic.

It's not Jacobs', Ortiz's, or Lopez's faults, they just did what they were supposed to do. But shame on GB and Top Rank for putting them in with opponents who couldn't put up any resistance whatsoever.

Not only was it a ripoff to the people who paid $55 for the PPV, but it was also a disservice to the 3 prospects, since they got no development whatsoever from fighting those 3 stiffs.

To be honest I quite liked it as an undercard, although I think my mind may still be scarred by Lacy-Manfredo on the PBF-Hatton undercard. I think the greatest problem was that the guys in the ring with them just looked like they didn't want to be there, although I will give Lares credit because he at least seemed like he wanted to give it a go against Jacobs, just his body wouldn't agree.

The Juanma-Medina fight was ridiculous though. I know he knocks everyone out first round, but Medina looked like he just wanted to go home. There was a fuckin world title at stake! Bob Arum better not just stick in a national champion next time for Juanma, although Arum bein da c**t he is, that's probably exactly what he'l do

why couldnt they of just held kirkland off for a week or two and stuck him on this card giving him much more worldwide coverage.

I thought the RJJ-Calzaghe undercard was ok though judahs fight done that no favours!!

I thought it was ok i liked that they had all young upcoming talent, on the undercard's. Yes they were up against overmatched opponents but who cares ? i was staying up till really late in the morning over in the UK here. So im not complaining that the undercards were quick.

It would have been nice to have Kirkland on that undercard.
But that being said, the records of the fighters that were in there matched pretty well.Just didnt work out to great fights, and having rewatched the Medina fight in slo mo,Medina was getting hurt in pretty bad spots. I think after the second knock down it didnt take much to help him down though. I bet he had a rib broken on that first knockdown.

To be fair though, Medina had given Rey Bautista a hell of a fight. He's looked very good in the past.

I expected a lot more from Medina and Resto. Going in I thought it was a solid under card.

i dont think so, the winners just look dominant. The losers however made it look like a bad undercard, especially medina. He was the biggiest let down in the undercard. I thought for sure he could test lopez but it seem like he had other plans.

Yeah to be honest I think I just wanted to vent at Arum, did anyone else want to smash his face in the other night when he told Pac to thank Larry Merchant? Or was that just me?

I did as well, but I would hope it would have enough follow through to knock Merchant out as well...

The Lopez-Medina fight was a joke. Medina probably researched the fine points in phantom punches very well. I actually heard Lampley(?) quipped, something like, "it'll be the last we'll see of Medina in a pay-per-view", then not content with what he just uttered, upgraded it to not only PPV, but to HBO.

Funny stuff, all the while Emanuel Steward reminding audiences that fighters from Argentina have a long history of fierce fighters! Sad. Pathetic attempt at international diplomacy. Nothing against Argentina, for sure, my comment is for Steward's. ....He should've just let it slide.

    YEP!!!

I had homework and finals to do, and most of the time I had to listen ... and laugh.... at drunk people around me, WAITING for the fight!

A waste of time = undercard.

Its simple math, they know people are going to by the PPV anyway, so why spend the extra money on a big time undercard? To make hardcore boxing fans happy? Please.

The undercard was painfully porr. Oscar has alot to learn from King . You can just have 1 decent fight on the bill and expect people to be happy

I liked watching prospects stomp their opponents. I was surprised HBO didn't put in tougher guys though.
