Thread: Dirrell vs Froch

I say Dirrell wins. He's faster. He's bigger. His defense is better. His workrate is better. He's younger and Froch is on the wrong side of 30.
Froch probably has the power edge and he throws from weird angles, but Dirrell could land all day on Froch, and he hits much hard than Pascal.

I'd say Dirrell but he kind of worries me, looks like he could get starched with a wide out of nowhere shot almost at any time. Then again I thought Paschal looked pretty fragile and he apparently handled Froch's power pretty well.

That's my take really... Pascal looked much more like a KO waiting to happen imo, and as far as pretty well everything else I'd give Dirrel an edge on Pascal, he's the better talent no doubt.

Having said that I still haven't even seen Froch Pascal so I can't really pick a winner in this one. Froch has looked ridiculous to me in the past but obviously this was a better showing and he is capable. You do have to wonder if his power is going to be enough against guys just that little bit more talented than Pascal though, if he couldn't get him out of there.. But like I said haven't seen it, and Pascal is pretty talented, sounds like they both rose to the occasion.

I'd favor Dirrell, but I think Froch would have some very good early rounds lot's of action both ways.
