Thread: iPod Help please.....

I've got an Audi A4 which has a built in Ipod Dock in the Glove Box. My 4th Gen Nano plays fine, but won't charge from the built in dock (Thanks to Apple fucking about with the pins on the later generation Ipods) I have heard that there is a cable that you can attach to the dock with one end and attach to your ipod at the other end to enable charging whilst playing. I can't find one of these cables anywhere. Anybody know if such a thing exists? I found a product called the Scosche Passport Home Dock, but this is too big to fit into the gap for the ipod in the glove box. I need something that attached directly to the dock.

My 4th gen charges from my docking station but wont charge from the mains charger i bought i've tried 2 of the buggers aswell.

Carnt you just make sure its fully charged before you go anywhere i know this dont help lol.

Hace you tried looking on the apple website for help?

I can't find anything on Apple site. The problem is that charge only lasts about 2 hours from Car Dock, coz it's using so much power through CD Interchanger

I'm not sure mate, you might want to try your local electronics store.
