Default Whs the go with Mundine v Green?

This may be mainly for the Aussie fans.

Danny Green is coming out of retirement soon, looking for a possible rematch with Mundine. I cant imagine He'll get under 175. Yet at the same time Mundine is stating he wants to go for belts at Middleweight, after his mismatch with Shannan Taylor.

I gave up trying to work out exactly what Mundine was doing ages ago, but this seems downright weird.

I hope he does have a crack at Middleweight cos the guy has talent and would be pretty big at 160. I cant see it thopugh given his recent opponents. I also think Green should stay retired.

    Thoughts?

Stay given up trying to figure out what Mundine is doing.. I've just given him away as a class fighter altogether..

I don't see why Green shouldn't come out or retirement to have another pay day off Mundine. it's little more than another paycheck so why not actually... Mundine's career for his last probably 10 fights has been nothing but showdowns in the ring for a bit of money.. No passion or inspiration or intent to further his career.. So anyone who wants to fight him may as well throw their hat into the mix for their own sakes

I beleive the curse of PPV is comming to your country. Mundine is playing the pantomine villain like Mayweather, Naz and Eubanks and people will pay to see him beat. Poor quality fighters through.

It's a strange one. On fox sports news on mon night or last night, can't remember, Bernard Hopkins was on Talking about promoting Mundine in the US and how excited they are about having him with GBP. Apparently Mosely was impressed and so Mundine is off to the US to fight at middleweight. How Danny Green fits into that is unclear. There's no way he could get back to supermiddle weight so it would have to be at light heavy. How does mundine go from middle to light heavy without having problems? It would have to be that after mundine is finished in the US he has a retirement fight against Green at LH for $$$. That's all i can think of.

Mundine is 33 and has no time to be the 2nd preliminary bout on a Golden Boy undercard. If he is serious about middleweight and wants a 160lb crown then it's off to Germany to fight Sturm or Abraham. Mundine only has this year and possibly next year to make his mark in World Boxing. He doesn't appear to have the power at 160lb to trouble Abraham or Sturm so it may be a long road he travels. He needs to stay well clear of fighting Danny Green at 175lb unless it is purely for the money. The fact he couldn't put a shot Shannon Taylor away convinces me he will not win a 160lb title any time soon.
