Wink Tic-tac-toe, the trainer's got to go.

Perhaps repeating a thread but this one deserves a kicking.

Glenn was picking Ricky right until they entered the ring yet now claims - it was obvious to HIM in the build-up that Floyd snr was scuppering Hatton's chance of winning.

Think you were looking for a Pac by KO prediction then, Glenn

Fact is Ricky got himself fighting daft tac tics your not telling me this was the fight strategy they had in the camp going in to the fight. They knew Pac was working on the right hook roll under move floyd pointed it out to Ricky and Ricky saw it for himself on the 24/7 series yet he kept getting hit by it.

After the 1st round Hatton went back to the corner and got this advise from Mayweather Snr this isnt word for word as it was hard to hear Mayweather.

What i've been telling you about moving your head MAN! You've got to fake and faint you've got to faint and then catch him. Just trying to fall in and over power him don't over power him keep your hands up MAN! You should have been listening to me from day 1.

And also when Ricky first got back Lee beard was chuntering on he should be quiet Floyd was Boss and their should only be one voice.

Then Hatton went out and reverted back to bulldozing really. Now ive typed this in a previous thread but one thing on my mind is How much say was Beard getting because many people have been saying he was basically equal perhaps he had something to do with this and as ive said before Lee Beard has had fallouts with both Floyd Snr and Billy graham in Ricky's training camps perhaps he is a major problem and Ricky just can't see it. I thought he was the one who was ment to do all the southpaw pad work.

In hindsight (mine is 20/20 btw ). I don't think Ricky could have done anything to avoid a stoppage or knockout Saturday night. His punch resistance has gone down big time. Add to that Manny has really fast, accurate hands with snap and well, it spells disaster.

I knew Manny was going to be a hard one to trap for Hatton as he is fast and mobile, but I never expected what I saw.

No trainer could have helped Ricky that night. It is almost like many expected some new defensive genius get born, but Ricky was not only nervous, but also really unsure of himself. Trading in trainers seems to have hindered him more than anything defensively as when he fought Mayweather, he at least had good head movement early.

I could be totally wrong. Ricky may have just been nervous and caught cold. He could fight again and show a good chin again. If he does decide to fight again though, I want him to do it with his old trainer beside him. That will instill some confidence back in him.

Good observation, and damn funny as hell. They actually filmed Pac doing the right hook move over and over, and they also showed in the next episode Hatton/Floyd watching the clip and saying 'see, that's all he does', yet they still got fucked up by it.
