Thread: If Mayweather beats JMM and Pac will he retire again?

Looks like Mayweathers next two fights are pritty much mapped out in my eyes, if he defeats these two do you think he will call it a day? If he does retire after that will it be for good this time?

Personally i'd like to see him face JMM, Pac and then either Cotto or mosely, which ever is on top at WW at the time when the fight could be made..

After that i think he's done prity much all he can do!

BUT would Floyd risk it all against Gavin Rees at 140 lbs ?

As Floyd stated, he fights for checks. So I don't see him retiring. I see at least a rematch with Pacman and maybe even a fight with Sugar Shane or Cotto.

No, he will be waiting for the next great junior welter or lightweight, or probably take on the weakest titleholder in the middleweight division.

I read over on ESPN that the rumor is he signed a 5 fight deal with Goldon Boy Promotions so he should be around for at least five fights.

Nah Pavlik's stock has dropped too much after losing to Hopkins.

If Mayweather fights Pac after Marquez I worry that Mosley might be too long in the tooth for an eventual Floyd fight. But Mosley: Mayweather has been the fight I have wanted to see for a long time now. A Cotto fight would be great too. If Floyd gets through all of that unscathed then all I can say is "Wow". If he was then to fight Paul Williams I think I would say "super wow!".

But it will probably never happen and he will retire before he has to face a WW.

It don't matter if Floyd retires or not! there aint no way to stop the verbal diarrhea.
