Thread: Damn Logo's

I for one am getting really sick of this shit.Fighter's constantly slipping on these stupid ass logo's. Tecate is horrible beer anyway as well as Miller lite and Budweiser. Stop with this shit we have seen more fighter's get hurt on these logo's than KO's. Ok maybe that was a bit exaggerated but still they serve no purpose in a ring were fighter's and ref's are constantly slipping on these thing's. For the love of god man GET RID OF 'EM.

I agree about tecate being the nastiest beer on the planet. But all the advertisements and sponsors serve purpose though.

Reps. I've been saying this for years. I have no doubt it causes fighters to lose concentration when they are skidding around on these things, it could cause injury or cost a fighter a fight. Another member brought up some time ago the 'toblerone' shaped advertisements at the edge of the ring too, the amount of times I've seen guys go over, miss a punch or take a punch due to losing their footing on these fucking things!

It is almost comical. I can remember Vargas vs Vanderpool in no way shape or form was Vanderpool going to win but I remember him punching and slipping downward and on the way down Vargas landed a viscious rabbit shot. Saturday night's was probably the worst I've seen. I can't remember a fight in were both fighter's every round slipped at least once. Just horrible.

Well not in my lifetime but in the early day's they used to have Gillette,Pabst,and a few other sponser's that would come on right before the round began. I'd much rather see that then watch a fight were guy's would get much better footing fighting on ice.
