    Default Wlad-Chag predictions

Im gonna be laying a few quid on ruslan to not just beat klitschko but to take him out.

No doubt wlad will dominate with the jab early on and incidents will be few and far between. But chagaev is very good at roughing up inside and certainly wont die wondering like most klitschko opponents end up doing.

Another hideous boring Klitschko fight in which everybody watching apart from Lyle loses the will to live after five or six rounds and nobody cares who ends up winning.

Wlad should win without too much of a fuss.

I can easily see another Wlad vs Sultan easily. Before that Iggy was one of the better heavies, typically having exciting fights and using combinations and footwork (he did in the few fights ive seen him in). However the height and jab just got to him. Hopefully Chagaev can do more but I see the same thing. Don't depend on Wlad to impress- in his last fight Rahman was begging to be ko'd from round 2 but Wlad just kept him there- and that was one of his more recent exciting performances. Ruslan has to get inside and work- Wlad can't fight inside. He can't allow Klitshcko to get a ryhtm with his jab or he'll get mesmorised (always used to happen to RJJ opponents as well). I'm gonna go against my instincts and say Chagaev close UD by taking advantage of Wlads slow start- the 2 week change of opponent can be the deciding factor.

Wlad took alot of heat after the Sultan fight for not being agressive. I think he will be looking to take out Chaguev. I say Wlad KO 9.

Have a thing for large eastern European men do you?

Wlad by TKO somewhere around the 9th-11th in another boring, typically Klitschko fight.

Wlad by UD. Although I'll be watching, hoping that Chagaev knocks him out.

I like that Chagaev weighed in at 225. At or below that weight, I believe he was won most his fights by knockout, above that I would have given him no chance against Wlad. I think he will be faster than weve seen him and able to land quick counters. I think it will be a tactical fight but I can see Chag making Wlad more and more uncomfortable as the rounds go on. Im ging to take Chagaev buy close decision ith Wlad having some sucess with the jab, but having more rocky moments than winning ones. Chagaev 115-112. I give Chag a 10-8 round along the way because I can see him timing Wlad with a perfect right hand and scoring a flash knockdown.

Wlad isn't the biggest guy Ruslan has fought, but he is hands down the most skilled and the hardest hitting fighter Ruslan will have fought since Felix Savon in the amatuers (whom Ruslan beat). Although I rate Ruslan, he has been off for a while, he looked bad vs Carl Davis Drummond, and we're not sure how he takes a punch off of a guy like Wladimir. Ruslan CAN be a difficult fight for Wladimir and it CAN be a boring fight like the Ibragimov fight, but I think with Wlad wishing to please the fans and wanting to send a message to David Haye, he'll get a stoppage, I just hope he's willing to let his hands go better

Someone unemployed should certainly not be betting on Chagaev.
