I suspect ESPN are waiting for Setanta to go into administration so that they can pick up their contracts on the cheap.
Hopefully this will be good for boxing.

Setanta Sports :: Great Britain
No more boxing other than Sky's PPVs & frankly weak FNFs. I'm glad that it at least held on till after the Cotto-Clottey fight, but when you think about all the great boxing we've had over the past year & a bit its such a shame its gone. Hope ESPN picks up & creates a rivals TV sports network to Sky. Anyway goodbye Setanta & Steve Bunce (I know how many will miss him)
Steve Bunce will still get work but what about his little sidekick Andy? He's jobless now and will likely have to go back to college or something.
Ah well....
ESPN have not picked up the boxing have they?
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
What does this mean to UK TV viewers? ESPN is screened in US only am i right?
are also on a sky channel so we will all have to move to sky.

i cant afford skysports as setanta was free cos i was on XL package
Live streaming. Sure it sucks because of the quality, but at least its free.
Man I feel for you fellas.Have never watched it but loosing any access to Boxing....any boxing sux.Have never been a fan of streams or online viewing....just not the same.... but all the reality-necessity now.
I really dont know about ESPN picking up the slack and adding on.It has enough channels for shitz sack but they just cut their own Wednesday night Shows last season.All that remains is FNF.Hey you never know ?
If ESPN have bought the Premier League rights then you'd assume they'd start a sports channel, other than ESPN: America and ESPN: Classic.
