Thread: Why shouldn't I buy an iphone 3GS?

All I can find is good stuff on it. Okay, so some overheating issues in the hot weather and seemingly not the best battery life, but those things aside, why shouldn't I go out and buy one right now?

What is the difference between an iphone and a Blackberry? Anyone?

These days not alot I dont think. Blackberry was always the 'work' phone but now they are very similar.

Im not really a phone person. Ive only just recently got a 'new' phone. I got a Nokia 5800. Its an unlimited text, 300 free minutes, unlimited tinterweb and sky sports (for watching the ashes in work) package. Costs 25 quid a month. I'll never use the free mins, Im an unsociable cunt.

i got one from asda £20 great for making calls on when i cba to put credit on it.

What annoys me is that you can't get the biscuit M&Ms (in the blue bag) outside of a cinema. How turd is that?

Can an iphone 3gs find me anywhere that stocks the biscuit M&Ms?

i've had my ipod touch for a while now and it's great. it does the same stuff an iphone does besides make a phone call and take pictures. so easy to browse the web, and tons of fun apps.. useful apps, at that.. i'd say 100% go for it. as soon as my current contract is up i'm getting one.

yeah sure they do... i had an Irn Bru last night with fish and chips.

The screens break easy on them, much like the higher end ipods, itouch and so on. So factor that in, as in, how rough you are on your stuff. Because they won't ever replace that kinda damage no matter if you have warranty or not. I've been through 9 cells in the last year. 2 of them were broken touch screen, a few just fell apart. One I left on a car roof. Had a crazy gf throw one in a river on me. She flat out smashed another. lol So yea, on number 10 now. And like a fool it has an large open-faced screen. This one blows out they have this one ph, forget the maker, but it is built like an army hummer and apparantly designed for my sort. Retails for around 250-300, so may have to be next option as I'm currently on a 3 yr plan I can't get out of.

So if you take care of your stuff, I think it's a good deal. Reckless and rough? Forget it.

I don't see how that list can be faulted.
