    Default Hatton Khan

    can this fight be made?

also what is peoples views? would hatton need a win under his belt to make this fight bigger?

i am pretty sure it would be the biggest fight in british history?

I was always against this. But I've come around to it more as people have talked about it more.

My opinion of Khan has elevated slightly after his win over Kotelnik. He fought a relatively decent fight, but Kotelnik didn't really do anything until the tenth round. He is slow and spends a lot of time covered up and still managed to get close and tag Khan easily when he decided to. He left it way to late to try and make a dent though.

I still think Hatton beats Khan and probably knocks him out. My only concerns are the issues of Hattons mental state and his sheer unwillingness to keep his gloves up anymore. Hatton has such quick feet so I can see him closing the gap on Khan quickly and he will land a lot more and significantly harder than what Kotelnik could. I can't see Khan standing up to that.

But if Hatton has slowed, become gunshy and isn't really into it anymore then it might go a bit wrong. Khan is a crappy puncher, but even Hatton cannot just use his head to block those absurd 6 punch combinations. Needs to get his guard up and his head moving. But he's been doing that less and less year by year.

Lets not take anything away from AMIR..he fought a great fight last night and was a Comfortable winner against Kotelnik!! But the difference in quality between Kotelnik and Hatton is massive!!

If Amir fought as well as he did last night against Hatton..he'd have been stopped no question!! There are still to many defensive issues with Khan for me that will get picked by the better operators! He would not be able to move as fluidly around the ring against Hatton, lets face it Kotelnik looked uncomfortable pressing the fight and Khan was able to keep moving against a one dimensional attack..He would'nt find it as easy against Ricky!

I think 2 is a bit quick TBH...Amir would be able to move and box his way out for at least 4/5 rounds, but as he slowed under the sustained pressure from Hatton he'd start to get tagged and beat up a little...slowing him down.

    I'd have thought 7/8 rounds!

Khan isnt hard to get close to i feel Ricky will tag him with the left hook to body and head and break Khan down.A prime Hatton would ko Khan within 3 but i think he will get the job done in 8.
