I bet the WBA out does them with "the interim regular catchweight championship"

My knee jerk reaction is to not like it because I'm not a fan of "catch weights." However, these fights have provided some good match-ups that may not have been made otherwise.

I don't have a huge problem, assuming this is not a defendable belt. Its a frickin trophy!

There is no need for catchweights in boxing anymore there are far too many divisions. This is absolutely pathetic IMO

What is anyone gonna defend this? Just give them a plaque or a trophy...........

I disagree we should have a weightclasses at 1 lb. increments between 105 and 300 lbs.

Seriously this is one of the major things hurting boxing right now. It is bad enough with all the interim champion, super champion and champion in recess nonsense. I consider myself quite an avid follower of boxing but I do not have a clue who many of these minor champions are? It is disgraceful, they are diluting their titles to the point that they will end up utterly worthless.
