Who would you pick in that one? Cung Le has said that he would want to fight Anderson Silva and it's a likely fight because Dana is easier to negotiate with. So if this fight is made who do you have?

Have to go with Silva at this point, I don't think he could sit back with cung le and have one of those lack luster performances. I 've watched cung le in mixed martials arts with a bit of a skepticism. Le has definitely more hittable than he was before (San Shou) and have see him even rocked on occasion.
With Silva's proficiency on the attack, I can see Cung Le being battered to a decision loss, simply because hes a little rigid and has never really had to fight at another fighters pace before. He can take abuse, but I don't know if he could really mix it up like he would be forced to with Silva as the both seem to prefer stand up now. Cung Le scissor sweeps used to be a thing of marvel, but in MMA, it wont get him any points unless he can follow up with a submission or quick ground and pound.
The xfactor though is that Le can hurt you with those kicks even while you're defending, like when he broke shamrocks arm.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

While I think Frank Shamrock is a very talented fighter he obviously is on the down side of his career. Take away the broken arm and he may very well have beat Cung in their title fight. Even though he lost it was a very close fight. Silva is at a level much higher than either of these guys right now. If Cung made it to the 3rd round w/o being KO'd I'd be suprised.

Cung ain't going to fight anymore he's retired and is now around 37 years old. He's making movies now in Hollywood.
He even said he really don't like MMA because of the racial abuse he gets from drunken red necks with Affliction shirts.
I talked to him a year back when I was in San Jose since we both have a mutual friend and he said that he felt he was getting too old and this was when he was making movies like Tekken and Fighting. He also said it pays more to be in acting, plus he didn't like some of the jackass fans of the sport with their racial attitude.
So whatever he decides to do, best of luck to him, he's a cool guy.
