Thread: Can someone please help me figure out which song this is, I'm going fucking insane

Ok, it's an electronic-ish song, somewhat new, and it's played on the university radio here. They sounds a bit similar to the Postal Service.

All I know are a handful of the lyrics.

"Here's the noose and there's the tie (or maybe "tile" instead of tie)"

"So I gave up on pop music"

and at the end of the song:

"My girl wants to party all the time"

Yes, I know that last line is from an Eddie Murphy song from the 80's.

Please help, this is driving me mad.

I tried Googling those lyrics for you, and I came up with nothing, except for the Eddie Murphy reference.

I've tried every internet search I can think of. Nothing. You'd think something would come up if it's popular enough that I've heard it played twice on the university station... It's not even that great of a song, I just happen to like it.
