Thread: Well Done Khan, You Made Britain Proud

Just wanted to say, congrats to Khan, he really made Bitain proud last night with a 1 round win in his first title defence.

Khan is gona be a beast and he will be ubtouchable. And remember he aint even at his peak yet.

I was ridiculed by all the haters when i fist joined this site couple years ago for saying that Khan will be a world champ and a force in world boxing

So yeah, fuck you haters

I totally agree. Salita was a beast with an incredible pedigree, it was amazing how Khan managed to overcome the odds of 8-1 on. It was truly astonishing. If Khan can beat someone as good as Salita so quickly there is just no way of knowing just how far his talent can go. With that 1% body fat and that tremendous confidence he is bound to become pound for pound number 1 sooner rather than later. The Queen should make him an MBE right here, right now. My heart is so full of pride that it is having trouble beating.

To make a country proud you have to beat well known respected opponents. Salita was hardly that was he now. Fair play on Khan getting the job done quickly, but it was a filler opponent for an easy payday. There is no need to go overboard on it.

It's like Calzaghe beating Manfredo and saying "Well done, Calzaghe, You made Britain proud". It would be quite an absurd thing to say.

Khan is 22yrs old, 23 fights, his first world title defence (which he wins in the 1st rd) and also his 2nd fight at his new weight, that mate is an achievement to be proud of i think!

So let me just clarify this. In "couple years" you have made 30 posts and having gone unseen for a while then pop up and tell people to f**k off

thread title was OK khan_no_1... any Khan fan is allowed to be proud of thier boy winning in great fashion he couldn't have done any better with what was in front of him.

BUT your "fuck you all" attatude just makes you look foolish and classless and i'm afraid if that is the posting style of Khans fans it will just make it harder for people to like the kid and that is a shame.
