Just checking out the odds.
Adamek is the strong odds on favourite to win, that really suprises me.
I would have thought Arreola would start favourite, especially seeing the amount of air time he gets on HBO.
I'll definitely take that bet.

What are the odds exactly?
I do notice that the "general public" keeps underestimating Adamek in heavy due to his past in lighter divisions. But when we make people put some money value behind their words, they get less emotional and more sane.
Remember that the no-retreat Adamek from fights with Briggs is gone. It's not that the fight will necessarily be wild, aggressive punches just cause Arreola wants it this way.
On the other hand, Adamek got a new coach after fight with Estrada so his new style is somewhat mysterious.
Yeah I would have thought Arreola was the favorite. How much is Adamek favored by?
Adamek 8/11
Arreola 5/4
Best odds for the two fighters.
If I was a betting man, I'd put some coin down on Arreola to stop Adamek.
Chris Arreola reminds me of Donkey Kong. Just tossing barrells and hoping they roll in the right direction.
I'm taking Adamek, but I can see him getting smothered under the weight of Arreola.
Adamek will have a field day with Arreola.
Arreola doesn't have enough skills to box and touch Adamek.
I might go to this fight if I can find decent seats for my girl and I.
However the closest seats are about 30 row's back and for the money is not worth it. I might change my mind and just go for it because I think both of their styles make for a tare up fight.
I've come to the conclusion that Adamek will outbox Arreola and bust him up.
Could very well be wrong.
But I think Arreola is just too SLOW.
Plus he looks like an elephant seal.
Tons of heart though. Tough as nails.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
I remember years ago Wacko writing that James Toney would completely make a fool of Sam Peter.
Adamek is a better boxer sure, but he will by far the smaller and weaker man in the ring.
Also, he himself has only fought one top fighter, in Chad Dawson, and he was comfortably outboxed. He scored a flash knockdown but aside from that it was a landslide win for Chad.
I don't think this is a world class cruiserweight who is moving up. He's a solid enough fighter but nothing exceptional.
I think Chris can just overwhelm him.
